UltraWHEY WPC S Evo is the 100% concentrated whey protein, with a very high biological value and instant solubility, enriched with Bacillus spores to ensure maximum nutrient assimilation and vitamin B6 to support energy metabolism.

Production using micro- and ultrafiltration processes results in a Whey with a high protein value (70-85%).

UltraWHEY WPC S Evo naturally contains all the essential amino acids (EAA) and branched chain amino acids (BCAA), as well as various compounds characteristic only of this type of protein. WPCs (Whey Protein Concentrate) contain much higher levels of growth factors, phospholipids, bioactive lipids and often also immunoglobulins and lactoferrin. They are rapidly absorbed proteins with a good digestive speed (45 minutes to 1 hour), which makes them versatile in use.

**But why choose a whey protein concentrate?

This system also allows the bacilli, which are usually sensitive to oxygen, light and moisture, to remain viable and stable, thus arriving fully functional.

Dissolve 30 g (3 scoops) in 200 ml water. Stir well and take once a day.

Our Advice

We recommend taking the daily portion away from main meals, at snacks or to make breakfast complete. In pre-workout, we recommend taking it at least an hour after training to allow for complete digestion. It can also be taken post-workout to optimise muscle recovery.

Remember also that the volume of water used in the preparation can be increased (or decreased!) as desired to achieve the desired density and intensity of taste.

In the case of deficiency or increased need, it is advisable to take them away from the main meals and/or at breakfast, so that the body is constantly supplied with plastic material. Remember that concentrated whey protein is rapidly absorbed but takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour to digest, and provides a good sense of satiety.

NOTE: the protein requirement is a parameter that is different for each individual. It depends on several factors, including the physical activity practised and biochemical individuality.

For this reason, based on the latest scientific literature ("NSCA's Guide to Sport and Exercise Nutrition", 2011. Campbell & Spano. Human Kinetics) the following values are useful for establishing protein requirements on the basis of the sport practised.

  • SEDENTARY INDIVIDUALS: 0.7 - 0.9 g / kg body weight / day

  • Active lifestyle athlete: 1 g / kg body weight / day

  • BODYBUILDING athlete: 1.4 - 2.4 g / kg body weight / day (remembering that during periods of mass, the recommended protein intake is 2-30% of total dietary kcal intake)

  • STRENGTH SPORTS**: 1.8 - 2 g / kg body weight / day

  • COMBAT sports**: 1.6 g / kg body weight / day

  • TEAM SPORTS** (acyclic): 1.6 g / kg body weight / day

Frequent doubts

**Is it possible to bake UltraWHEY WPC S Evo or otherwise use them in cakes or baked goods without altering their nutritional values?

Just as it is possible to cook meat and eggs (other protein sources), it is possible to heat Ultra WHEY WPC S Evo in the microwave/cook it in a frying pan without altering its nutritional values. Cooking, above 60 degrees, causes denaturation of the proteins: this results in a structural change but not in the nutritional values of the product. It is therefore considered safe to both cook and heat them. Remember, however, that since it contains bacilli spores, which are sensitive to heat, it would be best to avoid exposing the protein powder to high temperatures.

Can I dissolve UltraWHEY WPC S Evo in a liquid other than water? Certainly: remember, however, that in this case the nutritional values of UltraWHEY WPC S Evo** will be added to those of the chosen drink.

How come no additional amino acids are added to UltraWHEY WPC S Evo? It is common to think that having an extra source of amino acids in protein powders is a good thing*. The truth is that when amino acids are added to a protein source in the world of nutritional supplementation, it is not done to give a plus to the value of the product, but to be able to alter the nitrogen value*.

Several amino acids (such as taurine, arginine and glycine) have in fact negligible production costs, and it is therefore possible to add them to protein powders to give theoretically a boost to the protein value without impacting too much on the cost of the finished product. You have to think of it as the addition of individual amino acids: the nitrogen value actually increases in this way, but without providing any real added value. The result is misleading, because arginine has a high nitrogen value, more than the protein itself, which automatically leads to PROTEIN SPIKING. But what does this mean? That if you have 15g of Whey and add, say, 5g of glycine, you will not really get 20g of protein per serving (assessed by the nitrogen test) but 15g of complete protein and 5g of a non-essential amino acid. This has no benefit to the user who wants to gain muscle support: the only benefit gained is cost-cutting on the part of the manufacturer. When buying protein powder supplements, it is good to ask why when you are faced with really low costs. Quality protein raw material costs money. Once again, before you can really choose between the options on the market, it is very important to know how to read nutrition labels.
